The Geo-Engineering Study Contract of the Northern Afghanistan Railway (phase II) got awarded to Afghanite Geo & Mining Engineering Services Company.
The Main contractor of the project is a Canadian Joint Venture (CANARAIL&ACI JV).
The client of the project is the ministry of public works of Afghanistan.
"AFGHANITE"
is the name of this mineral which was found in 1968 in Badakhshan/Afghanistan.
